A Day of Triumph and Team Spirit!

The Annual School Sports Day was held on 17th August 2024 , at the University Stadium great enthusiasm and excitement. The event was marked by the presence of our Principal, Sr. Nilima, chief guest Mr Mathew Varghese, the former Indian football player, who inaugurated the day’s event. He emphasized the importance of sports in a student's life, not just for physical fitness but also for building teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.

The day began with a grand opening ceremony. The school band played the national anthem, followed by a march-past where the four houses – Aarav, Prakrithi, Ishann and Agni – showcased their unity and discipline. The house captains led their teams with pride, and the best marching team was awarded the 'Best Marching House' trophy.

The much-anticipated Sports Day at Carmel School Peyad, Trivandrum, was a spectacular display of athleticism, teamwork, and unyielding spirit. Students showcased their skills across various events, including the javelin throw, discus throw, running races, relay races, and the long jump.

The competition was fierce, but it was the Yellow House that emerged as the overall champions, showing incredible dedication and perseverance. The Blue House gave a commendable performance, securing the runner-up position with determination and grit.
