As part of the 73rd Independence Day celebration, Carmel School Peyad hosted an Inter-school Quiz competition - KARME KOUIZ 2019 on 17th Aug . The programme was based on National Integration and Mr. Prabhath M was the Overall Incharge of the competition. 16 schools from various parts of the city participated in the event. Farhan S and Adarsh Sudheer from Santhiniketan School , Kunumpuram emerged winners . They received a cash award of Rs.5000/- and certificates. Adwait M Prasanth of Janardhanapuram Higher Secondary School, Ottashekaramangalam bagged the Second Prize winning a cash award of Rs.3000/- and certificates. The Third position was secured by Anirudh R and Charan Chand of MGM Public School, Aakulam. They received a cash prize of Rs. 2000/- and certificates. The prizes were distributed by the famous Journalist and Historian Sri. Malayinkeezhu Gopalakrishnan. The quiz was very informative and knowledge enriching for the participants as well as for the audience. The students displayed ecstatic spirit and enjoyed the quiz to the fullest.
