In honor of our beloved Mother Foundress, Sr. Teresa St. Rose of Lima, Carmel School Peyad was organized an Inter-school Quiz competition 'Karme Fundadora 2K24' on 9th October. The quiz aimed to celebrate the life, contributions, and teachings of Sr. Teresa, inspiring students with her values of faith, perseverance, and compassion.

The event commenced with a solemn prayer followed by inaugral speech by our Principal, Sr. Nilima, and a brief introduction to the quiz by the quizmaster Mr. Prabath M. Students from various schools participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their knowledge of the life of Sr. Teresa and the history of the Carmelite congregation. The quiz rounds included a wide range of questions from every field.

After a fierce competition, Got Model HSS for Girls, Pattom secured the first prize with an outstanding performance. Carmel HSS, Vazhuthacaud, followed closely and bagged the second prize, while Got HSS, Thonnakkal, claimed the third prize.

The winners were awarded trophies , cash prizes and certificates by our Principal Sr. Nilima, who expressed her pride in the students’ dedication and knowledge. In her concluding remarks, she encouraged everyone to follow the path of Sr. Teresa and highlighted the importance of embodying her values in everyday life.

The Karme Fundadora Quiz was a fitting tribute to Sr. Teresa St. Rose of Lima, leaving participants and spectators alike inspired by her legacy. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of the organizing team, participants, and volunteers who made the event a success.
