Carmel School Peyad Shines as Host for Inter-School Quiz Competition KARME FUNDADORA 2K23

Trivandrum, 21 September 2023- The halls of Carmel School Peyad were abuzz with intellectual fervour today as it played host to the prestigious Inter-School Quiz Competition, KARME FUNDADORA 2K23. This spirited event witnessed the participation of 34 prominent schools from Trivandrum, showcasing their knowledge and quick thinking.

The event, graced by esteemed dignitaries, saw Sr. Jose Lynette, Assistant Mother Superior General & Councillor of CSST, as the chief guest, alongside the well-known Quiz Master, A P Prejish Nirbhaya. The competition was divided into two riveting segments - the preliminary round and the main quiz.

In the showdown, five exceptional teams emerged as the cream of the crop, competing across four challenging rounds. The nail-biting competition culminated in the following accolades:

- *First Prize*: The dynamic duo of Sneha S.S and Mayookha S. Nair from Government Model Girls Higher Secondary School Pattom secured the top spot. Their remarkable feat earned them a cash prize of ₹7500, a gleaming trophy, and certificates of excellence.

- *Second Prize*: Tamanna Prajeesh and Siddhi B Iyer from Kendriya Vidyalaya Pattom displayed outstanding teamwork to clinch the second position, earning them a cash prize of ₹5000.

- *Third Prize*: Bharat B Asok and Jagath Shyam from St. Mary's School, Pattom showcased their intellect and quick thinking to secure the third position, rewarded with a cash prize of ₹3000.
