Foundress Day at Carmel School is a time to honor the legacy and vision of our beloved Mother Foundress, Sr.Teresa, St. Rose of Lima , whose life of dedication and service laid the foundation for our institution. This special day was marked by a deep sense of gratitude and reverence, as students, teachers, and staff gathered to celebrate her enduring impact on our lives.

The celebration began with a solemn prayer service, invoking blessings and reflecting on the values at our school chapel accompanied by all the Catholic students with the CSST members. Our foundress instilled in the Carmelite tradition -compassion, humility, and a commitment to education. The prayer was followed by a beautiful tableau of her life story, performed by students, showcasing her unwavering faith and determination to serve the less fortunate.

An inspiring speech by our student Abhinavami reminded us all of the importance of continuing the Foundress's mission through our daily actions, embracing the values of love and service , that reflected the spirit of Carmel.

In honor of the Foundress, the school organized a charity drive, encouraging students to contribute to those in need, embodying the values of kindness and service that Mother Foundress championed.

The day ended with a reflective moment, as each student and staff member took time to renew their commitment to upholding the principles that Mother set forth, ensuring that her spirit continues to live on in the heart of Carmel School.
