Our school celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June 2025 with great zeal and awareness.

The theme for World Environment Day 2025 is “Beat Plastic Pollution”, focusing on the urgent need to address the global plastic crisis. This theme underscores the importance of reducing plastic waste to protect ecosystems, human health, and biodiversity.

The day began with a special morning assembly featuring a thought- provoking speech on environmental issues& a pledge to protect nature.

The Principal planted a coconut sapling in the school compound and distributed saplings to the students and encouraged them to plant them in honor of their mothers.

To mark the occasion, a tree plantation drive was organized on the campus, followed by engaging activities such as:

● Poster-making and placard making for classes 5 to 8

●Colouring competition for classes 3 & 4

● Quiz competition on environmental awareness

The celebration inspired students to take responsibility for preserving nature and highlighted the importance of small actions leading to a big impact.
