The solemn feast ‘Our Lady of Mount Carmel’  was celebrated at Carmel School, Peyad in a grand way. Rev Father George Machukuzhy graced the occasion . The chief guest, Cine artist and former Carmelite, Mrs. Sree Lekshmi inaguarated the various clubs.

In remembrance of Mother Mary, our Carmelites tiny tots presented a theme based dance with fairies and angels dancing around. Our lady Mount of Carmel was remembered by featuring a presentation of handing over the brown scapular to an early Carmelite named Saint Simon Stock.

A tableau was presented ,recreating the scene of Julius Caesar’s funeral with Mark Antonio ‘s speech.

Sister Nilima , the school principal led the oath taking ceremony for the student co-ordinators of various clubs. It was a sight worth watching.
