Christmas, a festive season of joy, sharing and caring. It was surely a Christmas to remember at carmel
school. The school had a festive look with balloons, bells, crib and Christmas tree with toppings of Santa
claus dancing with the Carmelites. Prayer by our choir group, followed by our Principal Sr. Nilima’s
welcome speech gave a start up for our Christmas celebration.
Our chief guest Bishop Dr. Rev . Christudas graced the occassion and made the program more live by
singing and sharing his experience with a message and blessings to the camelites. Several competitions
were held section wise with carol singing, letter to Santa, dressing up as Santa fancy dress competition,
tableau, skit, dances from our tiny tots and higher secondary made it a worth celebration. Food fest was
a thrilling experience for our students and doing charity by collecting the money and donating it to the
old age home was a rare experience. They danced with the members at the old age home and made
them happy by giving gifts and singing carols with Santa distributing sweets to them. Cutting the cake in
each class and dancing and wishing each other showed the love among the students. Lastly, the music
and dance by all the students in a row was worth watching and a memorable Christmas to cherish for
years to come for our young Carmelites.
