Carmel School, Peyad  observed Environment day on June 6, inauguration was done  by the Chief Guest. (Retd) Chief Deputy Forest Range Officer, Mr. Udayanan Nair. Awareness about protecting our environment, our life style, global warming was given by our chief guest to our students. The concept was “All house must have a medicinal plant”. So the children bought medicinal plants and shared with their classmates, those who didn’t have medicinal plants in their house. It was a grand celebration with speeches and poems and planting of trees. Our school promotes a green oriented framework and pleasant environment.
