Teachers Day was observed in Carmel School with a morning assembly conducted by the students of class XI. The principal Rev. Sr. Gracelyn bestowed her blessings on our beloved teachers. Later each students who represented a grain were made to tell prayers and thank the farmers who symbolised the teachers. The allegory was done in the wake of the devastating flood that had curbed the lives of many in Kerala. After the assembly there was a Tilak Ceremony for the teachers as a sign of appreciation of their hardwork and dedication. The teachers watered the plants as a sign of nurturing and moulding the students.
